Koala Health is a nationwide, digital-first pet pharmacy

that simplifies pet prescriptions with vet coordination,

auto-refills, and free shipping. The goal of this campaign

was to drive purchases on Koala Health’s storefront

through Meta and Google Ads, while positioning the brand

as a trusted, personalized alternative to generic retailers like Chewy and PetMeds.

The main challenge was showing pet parents that Koala Health is not just another online pet retailer, but a dedicated pharmacy they can trust. Creative needed to balance professional, medical credibility with warm, approachable storytelling that resonated with dog and cat owners .

Research

Reviewed competitor ads from Chewy, PetMeds, and Allivet. Looked at what felt too generic and identified opportunities to make Koala stand out with its in-house pharmacists, personalized packaging, and thoughtful touches like handwritten notes .

Concept Development

  • Brainstormed ad angles that emphasized trust, convenience, and affordability, while spotlighting customer-first features such as auto-refills and fast shipping.

Design
